Biosketch: Dr. Ram Krishna Ghosh received his B.Sc. (Physics) degree from the University of Calcutta in 2006, M. Sc. (Physics) degree in 2008 from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, and Ph.D. (Electronic Systems Engineering) degree from Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore in 2013. In his Ph.D. dissertation, he worked on the atomistic modeling and simulations of emerging two-dimensional materials based nanoscale devices for beyond CMOS applications under the guidance of Prof. Santanu Mahapatra.

He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics & Communications Engineering, IIIT-Delhi. Prior to that, he worked as a DST Inspire Faculty at the JNU, New Delhi (2017-2021). He did his Post-doctoral research in association with Prof. Suman Datta at the University of Notre Dame, USA (2016-2017) and Pennsylvania State University, USA (2013-2015). His current research interests include quantum transport simulations, modeling and computational study of emerging materials and devices at the nanoscale (from atom to devices) for future energy efficient and high performance nanoelectronics and spintronics applications.
